Accidental Pervert: When looking for Max at the concert, Goofy accidentally stumbles upon the back-up singer's dressing room (when she's in her underwear), at which point she screams and punches him out of the room. The "perfect cast" turns into a dance craze at the end.Max gets a possum in his pants, and everybody claps along and dances with him.Who deserves a hero's trophy / as we face each cata-STRO-PHE? Not wanting Roxanne to think he's rejecting her, he lies that Goofy is friends with Powerline, a Michael Jackson-esque pop superstar whose concert she'll be watching on pay-per-view at said party, and that the reason he won't be at the party is because they're going to Los Angeles to join him on stage. Unfortunately, not only does Max want nothing to do with his amazingly embarrassing father but their trip interferes with his plans to go to a party with his crush Roxanne. It's also, to date, the only theatrically-released, single-narrative feature film to star a character from the Classic Disney Shorts.Īfter his son Max gets into trouble on the last day of school, single father Goofy becomes worried that they haven't been spending enough time together and decides to take him on an impromptu father-son road trip. It's a loose Spin-Off of Goof Troop, making it the only other feature film spin-off of a show from The Disney Afternoon after DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. Stacey, being the nerd she is (and I love her too), could be in almost any grade, but she does strike me as maybe a Junior or Senior.probably not a freshman during the film's time span.A Goofy Movie is a 1995 animated film from Disney, starring, of course, Goofy. But they could both be in the same grade, or the age difference could be greater or smaller still. I do think it would make some sense if she were a Junior and he were a freshman, though. I would hope that they at least remained good friends, because they're both awesome characters and I can imagine them having a great relationship. Pretty quick, considering the desperate crush he'd had on her and what he went through to finally win her attention and trust. =/ Personally, I would LOVE to know what happened between them, because the end of "A Goofy Movie" certainly implies that they would have hooked up for a while-but by the time Max heads off to college, there's no mention of her, so she must already be out the picture. Since she doesn't appear or even get a mention in An Extremely Goofy Movie (so sad, because even though their relationship didn't necessarily have to continue as a COUPLE, I loved her and would've liked to see that they at least remained good friends!).AND Max winds up with a different girlfriend in a later Christmas cartoon (Mona).we don't know whether she graduated earlier than he did, or moved, or they were in the same graduating class and simply went separate ways after high school. I think it could feel appropriate for her to be a year or two older, though there's no proof. After all, she'd most likely be going off to college, so it could still apply. Fishypup That all makes sense, except that a) seniors would still attend the final day, and b) if the whole school were required to attend that assembly, which was about more than "not wasting summer vacation," then she could still be a senior.
